Tamang Heritage Trail is one of the nearest trekking destinations from Kathmandu, lies an unparalleled combination of natural beauty and cultural riches of Langtang Region. Over 70 glaciers of varying sizes, picturesque Langtang and Ganesh Himal mountains range, and high altitude lakes including Gosainkunda, Parvatikunda, Bhairavkunda, and Dudhkunda are worth able visit. The villages also sell exclusive handicraft items like traditional caps, mufflers, and other items, where the stay is a unique experience. The ancient monasteries and houses adorned with rich wood engravings at Thuman are an unforgettable experience. At Briddim one gets to experience the famous Tamang hospitality, where there is a home stay facility in two dozen houses. After the Tamang Heritage Trekking, we will head for a couple of days towards the narrow Langtang valley to the Kyanjin Gompa at 3900m along the Langtang Khola (stream) enjoying with mountains' splendor vista. Our trekking ends at the same point of the trip beginning point, either Dhunche or Syabrubesi then drive back to Kathmandu.
