The third highest mountain in the world Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586m) located eastern-north part of Nepal just nearby Sikkim and Tibet border. It is known as real trekking trail in Nepal, due to less frequented by trekkers and pure nature. This is combination of unique culture, tradition, people live hood, amazing mountains scenery and natural beauties which is still untouched by modernization. Traditionally Kanchenjunga conducts as full organize trek but now a days it can do as basic tea house trekking.

Literally Kanchenjunga word comes from old Tibetan and translates to “Five treasures of snow.” Locals worshiped these holy five Peaks [Kangbachen (7903m), Yalung Kang (8505m), Kangchenjunga Main (8586m), Kangchenjunga Central (8482m) and Kangchenjunga South (8476m)] as five treasure; Gold, Silver, Precious Stones, Grain, and Holy Scriptures, referring to the 5 individual peaks of the Kanchanjungha Himal range.
The trail goes through the Kanchanjungha Conservation Area Project. This is inhabitant of endangers red Panda, Snow leopard, wild goat, Musk Dear and many other animals. Likewise Nepal national flower Rhododendron, Magnolia, orchid and verity flower makes the jungle colorful during the spring season. The trail goes through the traditional villages, rice terrace, and beautiful landscape with marvels mountain scenery. Below the Ghunsa mostly Lumbu ethnic density can see most of the village and Bhotiya and Sherpa people beyond it. The trip start lowest elevation 60 meters at Jhapa to until Kanchenjunga Base Camp 5,143 meters at highest point through the Taplejung, Taplethok, Lelep, Gabla, Ghunsa, Khanbachen, Lhonak then Kanchenjunga North Base Camp. Then trek back to beautiful village Gunsa and heading to Kanchenjunga South Base Camp via Sele la (4,290m), then back to Ramche, Yamphudin, Mamankhe and Suketar. Some trekkers doing this trip as reverse way also; first visit the Yalung Base Camp. For this trekking you may drive Kathmandu to all the way at Taplejung or Basantapur. Or forty munities flights to Bhadrapur then drive to Taplejung. Some people fly Biratnager and drive to Basantapur also. But for the more comfort trip and like to spend more time at mountain rather than transportation, then batter to fly Kathmandu to Suketar.

You may cross over the Lumbasamba pass then to the Makalu Trekking also. As newly open tea house trek in virgin land; you have just basic facilities of accommodation with few choices food items.   • TIMS (Trekkers Information Management System) Cards.
  • Warm down Jacket and Sleeping Bag for the trek if you needed.
  • Government license holder English Speaking experienced Guide with their food, accommodation, salary, insurance, equipment.
  • One Sherpa (assistance guide) if group size more than 10 people. Plus their food, accommodation, salary, insurance, and equipment.
  • First Aid medical kit during the trip including Oximeter to measure Oxygen and pulse in high altitude.
