Serpani Col Trekking is located in the heart of the eastern Himalaya Makalu-Barun National Park, as seven valleys spread out from Mt. Makalu, the world's fifth-highest peak. These valleys, particularly the Barun valley, treasure some of the last remaining unspoiled forests and alpine meadows. The Sherpeni Col Trek begins from the bottom of the Arun valley, just at 400 m above sea level “Tumlingtar”, and the Himalayas rise to the snow-capped tip of Makalu- 8463m- within a 40 km distance. Within this wide range of altitudes and climates, the Makalu-Barun area contains some of the richest and most varied pockets of plants and animals in Nepal, elsewhere lost to spreading human habitation.

Serpani Col Trekking is an adventure trek in the eastern part of Nepal, Sherpani Col is one of the most remote and unfrequented real adventure trekking routes. When trial goes on higher altitude, sometime weather may be the obstacle for the further progress and high altitude sickness appears as a conman. Just you need self-determined to bear all situations to get to your destination. Though economically poor and isolated, they retain a rich cultural heritage. For the naturalist, there are spectacular displays of wildflowers and exotic plants. Sherpani Col Trek begins from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar after 40 minutes scenic flight then heads up the Arun River valley to Makalu Base Camp crossing into the upper Barun valley. After the Makalu Base Camp, we cross the three difficult passes; Sherpani Col (6110m), West Col (6135m), and Amphu Laptsha Pass (5845m) to get to Khumbu valley. Makalu Adventures Trekking offers a fantastic panoramic view of the eastern Himalayas; Chamlang, Peak 6, Peak 7, Makalu, Everest, Lhotse, and Kanchenjungha are ahead to reward us the steadfast trekking from a different angle. Then the trail goes through the Chhukung, Dinbuche, Tyangbuche, and Namche, and end our adventures journey take a short flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Sherpani Col Trekking organizes just a Camping base, this is possible to make it shorter and longer according to your requirement and holiday schedule. We “Nepal Mother House Treks” operate this adventure trip with our highly experienced guides and staff. The Trekking in Cherpani Col is recommended for those trekkers, who love to test the adventure journey in the Nepal Himalaya. We operate this Trekking whole of the year but the best time is the fall and spring season.
