Arun Valley Trekking is situated eastern part of Nepal, between the Sagarmatha national park and Makalu-Barun National Parks. Auran Valley provides an alternative approach to the Khumbu Region- “The home of the Sherpa” and offers superb views of the world's highest mountains “Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mount Makalu (8,463m), and other many Mountains and un-spoilt people culture, ancient Buddhist monastery varieties of vegetation and rare wildlife. Arun Valley Trek is recommended for those people who have already been in the Everest Region but revisit Everest Base Camp (Kalapatthar) via a less-traveled route.

Arun Valley Salpa Pass Trekking goes through the low altitude area centered to the Arun Valley, with the sub-tropical dense forested of the mighty Arun River and distinct with the terraced slopes higher up cultivated by villagers of diverse tribal groups. High pastures typify the upper slopes, which border the Makalu-Barun National Park, an important conservation area for many threatened species. This trip begins from either 45 minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar or driving all the way to Hill and further ahead through the Makalu Base Camp trail, following a ridge high above the eastern bank of the Arun River through Rai villages; Chyawabesi, Gothe Bazaar, Phadi, Shilpa pass (3,350m), Sanam, Bung, Najingdingma and catch the Everest Base Camp classical trekking route from Jiri. On the trail can see distant views of Makalu and Chamlang mountains, we descend to cross the river and head northwest to explore an area that is completely off the normal trekking route to the following paths used by yak herders, cross over the 4,300m plateau on the Thuli Danda ridge, from where the stunning wall of Chamlang and other major Himalayan peaks can see. Tumlingtar Arun Valley Trekking is a real wilderness trekking route, rely on we meet other trekkers before the junction of the Jiri trail. Then we follow the Buddhist villages of Sherpa to the normal route of the Everest Base Camp Trekking route through the ancient trading place Namche Bazaar, Khumjung, and Tengboche. We retrace the trail until the trekking exit gets Lukla. Or you can make your trekking shorter fly back from Lukla instead of heading to Everest Camp.

Inclusions
