Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking is a popular trekking route in Annapurna Region as a true classic trip among others. It is one of the most beautiful treks that combine easy walking through the diverse ethnic groups’ cultures and a variety of vegetation forests. The trail goes through traditional villages of Gurung and Magar ethnic communities who will greet you with very warm hospitality.

During Annapurna Sanctuary Trek you have incredible mountain views including Machapuchare known as Mt. fishtail, Lamjung Himal, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli Peak, Gangapurna, and many more. This trek begins from the beautiful city Pokhara to Nayapul by drive then walk through evergreen dense forests of rhododendron and magnolia to Ghorepani. Where, you have stunning views of sunrise and sunset including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche peak, Nilgiri, and many more. Then the trail leads you east to the Tadapani and on towards Chhomrong, from where we commence our journey to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Sometimes you have a great chance to see honey hunting adventure activities in front of your eyes. Then the trail of the Trek follows the valley in between the huge battlements of Himchuli and Machhapuchhre, finally emerging into a breathtaking showground, where a knot of mountains and Annapurna I tower almost upright above us. The trail finally stumbles across moraines and reaches Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4,130 meters, from where you will see unquestionably beautiful and unbelievable 360-degree views of the Annapurna mountain ranges and massive Annapurna glacier just some distance. Here are Teahouse / Trekkers lodge facilities managed by the local people and given the idea by the Annapurna conservation area project (ACAP).

Collecting a bunch of experiences, the trail will descend to Dhampus Phedi or Nayapool through rice terraces and forests with a bank of Modi River. Now a day there are several accesses to this trip either driving from Pokhara to Kyume or Syauli bazaar by bus or jeep.
