Makalu Trekking

The fifth highest mountain Makalu located in Makalu-Barun National Park, a virtually uninhabited 1500-km2 area of Eastern Nepal, is very close to virgin wilderness. The remote terrain Makalu Trekking extends east from Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) National Park, between the high plateau of Tibet and the deep subtropical gorge carved by the Arun River. Makalu Trekking is accessible from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar by 40 minutes scenic flight then heads up the Arun River valley to Makalu Base Camp crossing Shipton La Pass (4210 m) into the upper Barun river valley for a close look at Makalu and Chamlang Himal. After the Makalu Base Camp, we cross the 3 difficult passes which are Sherpani Col (6110m), West Col (6135m), and Amphu Laptsha Pass (5845m) to get into Khumbu valley, observing a fantastic panoramic view of eastern Himalayas; Chamlang, Peak 6,  Peak 7, Makalu, Everest, Lhotse, Kanchenjungha are ahead to reward us the steadfast trekking from a different angle. We follow the Chhukung, Dinbuche, Tyangbuche, and Namche and end our adventures journey take a short flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Mostly Makalu Trek organizes as Camping but it is possible to do basic tea House also, this is possible to make shorter and longer as our Clients demands.
